Where it all began

The History

The White House offers more than a venue, it offers a feeling and a touch of history. This 1930’s style mansion was built from the mind of architect Philip Trammell Shutze. With space for up to 200 guests, the natural flow of the main level is perfect for entertaining with 4 acres of property, an expansive green pasture, a limestone pool equipped with a small pavilion, formal living and dining rooms, and the professional kitchen, which is a modern update and a dream for Catering. There are eight beautiful rooms available for flexibility, two specifically designated as the Bride & Groom Suites. For all of the sea lovers, the venue features a roof top bar, that was taken straight from the SS Normandie! It is the perfect backdrop straight out of a movie. If one space of the home doesn’t fit the bill, we are positive another will. From sunlit interiors to outdoor gardens, every setting invites you to imagine your day unfolding from one perfect scene to the next. Let’s explore the grounds of The White House below.

The Lumiere Pool

The Poolside Pavilion really sets the tone for enjoying the outdoor air and twilight sky. Guests can enjoy champagne and hors d'oeuvre’s as they relax under sunshine as conversation fills the air under our towering oak tree. Take pick of your canvas: the manicured hedges or The White House itself, there is no wrong choice. Enjoy a sweet cocktail around our limestone covered pool, or utilize as much space as you need for a star-lit Reception.

The sky is the limit. Speaking of sky, did I mention we have a bar on the roof? On the third floor of The White House, you will find a playful and nautical bar that was taken from the famous SS Normandie and doors opening to an expansive roof deck overlooking the vast property with breathtaking views. This space is accessed through a secret door on the second floor. Cocktail and Receptions are a dream, and intimate Ceremonies can host up to 40 to 50 guests.
